Self-observation for iPhone
ObserMe
A habit tracker that observes you instead of prescribing to you.
Write a few checks, short questions about yourself. Answer them in seconds, at set times or random moments. Over months, the answers show you what you couldn’t see day to day.

01The data
A year, one dot at a time.
Every day you answer something becomes a dot. Nothing is scored and nothing resets. The shape is the information: when you started, the months that held, the two weeks in August that went quiet.

Sample data, made for this page.
234 days checked in since 12 January. 42 days without an answer.
Week by week, side by side.
The last seven days, one row per check. Yes or no as dots, everything else as the number you gave. The same week as the Today screen at the top.

02How it works
A few questions, asked often enough to mean something.
Ask yourself.
Write the questions you’re curious about. Something you do, something you feel, where you are, what you’re doing.

03Two rhythms
Some questions come on time. Others find you.
A check can remind you at a fixed time, like a habit. Or it can arrive at a random moment, so you catch yourself as you are, not as you planned to be. Both live in the same list.
- At a set time
- The same moment each day. For the things you do, or mean to do.
- At random
- A few times a day, within hours you choose. For the things you are: where, with whom, how you feel. How random sampling works

04What it won’t do
Some things are left out on purpose.
No streaks
A missed day is a day without an answer. Nothing resets.
No points or badges
There is nothing to earn and no level to reach.
No coaching
It doesn’t tell you who to be. It shows what happened.
No social feed
No followers, no likes. A poster is shared only when you share it.
No ads
No one is paying to reach you here.
05Privacy, plainly
Where your answers live.
Your answers are stored on ObserMe’s servers, under your own account. Each account is kept separate at the database level, so one person can’t read another’s data.
There are no ads and no analytics in the app. Your data isn’t sold, and it isn’t shared for advertising or tracking. The only outside service involved is the hosting provider that stores it for us.
You can export everything as JSON at any time, and delete your account from inside the app.
Six months from now, know something about yourself you didn’t before.
